For a person used to walking, the "Road to Yesterday" Museum, Christopher Pratt Art Gallery," and the Shoreline Heritage Walk will offer good exercise in the fresh sea air.

Bay Roberts features many community events all year around. During the summer Klondyke Days is held in late July and early August. "A Time in Pigeon Inlet," a dinner theatre featuring Kelly Russell is held during the summer. In addition, the plays of the late David French, award winning Canadian Playwright, who was born in Coley's Point (Bay Roberts) are performed at Victoria LOL#3 Museum and Playhouse.

The Oldest English Settlement in Canada - Cupids - Founded in 1610.

The state-of-the-art Cupdis Legacy Centre was opened in 1610 to celebrate the 400th anniversary. In a July 2006, The Beaver, Canada’s History Magazine, named the Cupid archaeological site one of “the top ten active archaeology sites in Canada”. Over 110,000 artifacts have been uncovered.
