Within walking distance of Klondyke Cottage are the Klondyke Causeway, the Royal Canadian Legion Marina, and the Shearstown Estuary. For a person used to walking, the "Road to Yesterday" Museum, Christopher Pratt Art Gallery," and the Shoreline Hertiage Walk will offer good exercise in the fresh sea air.
